It’s week two of the One Room Challenge! I’m excited to share some of our initial plans, discussions and inspiration for Miranda and Taylor’s living room. 

First thing’s first – layout. Right now, the room is split pretty evenly with the dining room on the left and the living room on the right of the entry.

Hey guys! I’m SO excited to announce that Beachy Bohème will be participating in this spring’s One Room Challenge! I decided to join as a guest participant to share the re-design of my friend, Miranda’s living room inside her charming little craftsman home in San Diego. How cute, right?

If you’ve never heard of the One Room Challenge, get ready to be inspired by so many beautiful interior design make overs! 

I used to be a huge fan of gallery walls. Emphasis on used to be. (Past tense.)

That is until I came to the realization that I just can't pull them off properly.  

Gallery walls have to be precisely executed to look polished.  Otherwise your wall can end up looking like a hot mess! Trust me, I know from personal experience. I just took down my own gallery wall because I gave up on trying to make it something it will never be.  Crème brûlée can never be Jell-O (and vice versa).
